Molybdates
A sub-group of Strunz Class 7, structured around the molybdate anion MoO₄²⁻. Molybdates typically form in oxidized zones of molybdenum-bearing ore deposits. Wulfenite — with its striking orange tabular crystals — is the most celebrated collector mineral of this group.
