Molybdates
A sub-group of Strunz Class 7, structured around the molybdate anion MoO₄²⁻. Molybdates typically form in oxidized zones of molybdenum-bearing ore deposits. Wulfenite, with its striking orange tabular crystals, is the most celebrated collector mineral of this group.
