Found in : Cobaltite, erythrite, skutterudite.
Used for : Lithium-ion battery cathodes, blue pigments, jet engines.
Remarkable : Named from the German Kobold (goblin). Cobalt blue has colored glass and ceramics since antiquity and remains one of the most stable blue pigments.
